Commissions for furniture
Bespoke leather work done for furniture
Commissioned leather work done for new furniture
These are a few pieces done for furniture such as a new leather cover for an office desk.
Quality leather craftsmanship
Each design of the PS Leather Craft range of bags feature premium quality leather sourced from the finest tanneries in Europe. The leather and all other materials used are chosen with attention to detail and are handcrafted with precision by me. My bags will not only look fantastic but also provide a lifetime of wear and comfort, perfect for anyone looking for a long lasting bag.

These bags are entirely hand crafted, including stitching and dying using traditional heritage methods.
Flexible choices
When we discuss your article, we will talk about colours, stitching or lacing styles, hardware choices, tooling and much more.
We will also talk about personalisation, for example having your name, logo or image or special date tooled into the leather.
Bespoke Flat Lacing
Another unusual request: to make 20 Metres of bespoke, reinforced lacing to replace the old lacing on furniture (shown in the photos). The leather strips were cut then split down to 0.4mm thickness. A 5mm flat cotton braided cord was used to provide the reinforcement. I made a tool to roll the leather over the braid.
Office Desk Leather Top
An office desk bespoke fitted leather cover. Ok, this was a new build so not exactly repair and restore! This desk is just over 2m long. There is not a hide big enough to do this in one piece, hence the French seams. The cross stitches were done by hand.

Plaited sofa ties
Sometimes I get unusual requests, like these sofa ties (something I did not know existed.) These were made from the same leather that was used to rebuild a sofa. Each strand in the plaits are 2 layers of the leather, glued back to back and plaited. I used Turks head knots to finish them off.
